You’re ready to tackle the day and show the world all the beauty you’re capable of creating. But you need a brand that’s as incredible as your work. Something that’s compelling and connects with your ideal customer. Like we said, you’re in the right place.
We’re Davey & Krista, brand strategists and designers who help creatives build brands that book.
We’re here for the creative business owners who run service-based businesses. And we want to help you find your next client.
Well, sort of…
What we really want to do is help you create a system for getting clients.
One that’s consistent, reliable, and runs in the background, so that you can focus on the work you love to do.

The conversation always starts with our brand questionnaire where we get to know you and your business, its history, the services and products you offer, what your ideal client looks like, and who your competitors are.
The questionnaire not only familiarizes us with your business, but also serves as a focusing activity for you. Clients often tell us they have greater clarity and feel more focused after completing our branding questionnaire.
We use your responses to start creating a mood for your brand.
view next step —
After you’ve completed your branding questionnaire, we’ll pull together a mood board to make sure we understand your ideal look and feel.
If you've been gathering inspiration images on Pinterest, this is where we'll put them to use (although we also like to find our own images too!)
view next step —
If you’re happy with the mood board, we’ll start working on a few logo concepts. We generally send around three to five ideas for you to choose from.
These are rough and normally pretty far from the final design. We have to start somewhere right? This round lets you see where we could go and it helps us narrow down a single direction to focus on.
view next step —
Once you’ve chosen a direction, we’ll start working on a few revisions based on your feedback. Most likely we’ll go through two additional rounds of revisions before we finalize the layout and illustrations in the logo.
Once the layout is finalized, we’ll explore other font options and then finally color options.
view next step —
Finally, we’ll bring your entire brand together with a few submarks (if they work for your brand), a color palette, a font palette and alternate versions of your logo.
The branding design process typically takes 4-6 weeks.
view next step —
As we move on to the website, we’ll send over an outline to help you gather images and content in an organized manner. We know content gathering can be one of the toughest parts of putting together a website so we try to break it down into easy-to-digest parts.
We’ll also ask you to gather around 100 of your favorite images for us to use throughout your site and upload them to your gallery system, Dropbox or Google Drive.
view next step —
Once we have your content, we’ll start working on the homepage design of your site.
We'll input your brand elements + content into the homepage of your website and send it over for feedback.
Generally, once the homepage is done the rest of the site flows a bit faster, as the homepage determines the general look and feel of your design.
view next step —
Once you’re happy with the homepage design, we’ll ask for the content for your About page and we’ll go through a similar process as we did for the homepage with up to two revisions per each page. Generally, once the homepage is done the rest of the site flows a bit faster, as the homepage determines the general look and feel of your design.
Depending on how quickly you send us content, this part of the process typically takes about a month.
view next step —
Once the pages on your site are built, we’ll move your design to your account for final testing. The actual launch will look a little different depending on your platform, but we’ll make sure all of your blog posts are migrated from your current site and that your site is thoroughly tested before your official launch.
While you can always come back to us for updates, we'll send over videos to teach you how to update each section of your site. We’ll also add you to our private Facebook Community to make sure you stay up to date on all things web.
EXPLORE THE PROCESS
We love a good-looking website as much as the next person, and you better believe that your website will be beautiful. But we’ll focus just as much on usability and user experience, too.
Whether you’re selling online courses, run an e-commerce shop, or need to collect leads on your website, we’ll get you all set up. We haven’t met an integration we can’t get up and running.
You’re not building a beautiful website to stay in that word-of-mouth grind. We build all our websites with best web and SEO practices in mind. It’s even something we teach about at conferences throughout the year.
We provide each of our clients with video tutorials demonstrating how to use their website, and they’re always welcome to email us with questions. One of our favorite things about our clients is how many of them come back to us for future projects.
Our clients get access to an exclusive community where they can access bonus material, get additional support, and collaborate with others.

Solid branding & web design can take a great service or product, bring it to life, and draw your ideal customers in.

Brand design is perfect for businesses who want to elevate their look and establish a cohesive aesthetic across their business.
We often work with businesses who are trying to reach luxury level clients or customers, break into a new market, or feel like new life needs to be breathed into their brand.
While we focus exclusively on a business' visual brand, our clients typically report that one of the biggest, unanticipated benefits of brand design is the clarity and direction they feel after the project has ended.
Brand design projects typically take 4-6 weeks to complete. We begin with our brand questionnaire, which gives you an opportunity to reflect on the direction of your business and gives us the opportunity to get to know you and your business a bit better.
From there we move on to mood board creation, and then get started on your logo design. We iterate using thorough revision process until we’ve pulled together the new visual representation of your business from logo and submarks to fonts and colors.

A well-designed website can do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to building trust, and—eventually—booking clients. Are you confident your website is working for your business?
We strive to build stunning websites that are conversion-focused. With extensive backgrounds in both design and marketing, we understand what it takes for a website to convert visitors into paying clients or customers.
We design websites on Showit or WordPress, which we believe are two of the most flexible yet easy-to-use website platforms out there (Showit vs. WordPress).
Designs can be either custom or semi-custom—the primary difference between the two is that a semi-custom website starts with one of our pre-designed website templates.
Custom websites, however, are built from the ground up for your business. Semi-custom website usually take between 6-8 weeks to complete, while custom websites usually require 10-12+ weeks, depending on the complexity.
If you're looking for a DIY option, head to the shop. We have a full suite of truly easy-to-customize website designs for both Showit and WordPress/Elementor.

Websites generally require more detail for the accurate quotes (especially if your site includes an e-commerce component.) The more detail you can give us from the outset, the more accurate your quote will be.

Many of our favorite projects included both brand and website design because we’re able to create a consistent, cohesive look for those businesses across their entire online presence.
We start with the brand project since this will be the visual foundation for your business. As that project winds down, we’ll begin the website design project. Websites can be built on either the Showit or WordPress platforms, and we can design either custom or semi-custom websites.
The primary difference between semi-custom and custom is that our semi-custom projects begin with one of our pre-designed website templates.

Good question! It ultimately depends on what kind of functionality you need in a website. Both platforms are relatively easy to use and provide lots of flexibility. WordPress, however, is generally a better fit for e-commerce businesses and membership sites.

We build all of our websites with search engines in mind. We even teach on search engine optimization (SEO) at various conferences throughout the year.
SEO is not something that’s done once. You’ll need to continue optimizing your website after it’s built and as you develop content. This includes optimizing content as it’s created and building quality backlinks to your website.
All semi-custom and custom website design clients get access to our SEO Course, which provides video tutorials on optimizing your website.
